During the last week I’ve progressively updated AlphaHutte’s look & feel. I’ve tried to make it as clean and minimal as possible: few captions, no graphics, extremely simple typography, black and white. The idea is to bring the focus on the actual content and above all emphasize photos (now the only colored content of the site). Finally, the new version of AlphaHutte is online! It had been almost a year I wanted to rebuild the site in order to give it a new look but above all drop the 100% static hand-made HTML pages in favor of a modern blogging engine. Although writing your own HTML code allows to produce perfectly styled pages, I was tired of spending hours to publish even the simplest of documents. More »
