Another amazing timelapse video, this time by Terje Sorgjerd, a truly talented landscape photographer. Shot from El Teide, the highest mountain in Spain, it features stunning views of the sky along the notes of a beautiful song by Ludovico Einaudi (Nuvole bianche).

I had to share this truly amazing video by Tor Even Mathisen! It’s the latest of his aurora borealis timelapse creations: built from a sequence of still frames shot with a DSLR and later post-processed before merging them into a beautifully edited video.

Today I was browsing Vimeo’s 25 favorite videos of 2009 and found out about timescapes.org timelapse videos. The author uses a custom-made dolly to produce really amazing footage.

A few weeks ago a friend pointed me to a movie available on YouTube called Home. I was expecting just an interesting environmentalist movie… what I found is an extraordinary piece of work. Issues affecting environment and life on our planet are described through absolutely stunning aerial views and an inspiring soundtrack.

Today I was browsing mountain biking videos and stumbled upon this one about a great cycling adventure. 3 months and 4500 kilometers across Tibet from Kashgar (Xinjiang) to Dali (Yunnan). I really enjoyed the challenges, the stunning views and above all the intimate contact with the land and people.
